Our community has installed security cameras from Flock Safety at both entrances. These cameras photograph and read the license plate of every vehicle that enters and leaves Greenfield Plantation. The cameras store the data in the 'cloud' and in addition to recording the license plate, the cameras identify the make, model, and identifying features (i.e. luggage racks, bumper stickers, etc.) of each vehicle. The license plates are automatically checked against the national stolen vehicle and amber alert databases and the Manatee County Sheriffs Office is automatically notified if a vehicle shows up in either of those databases.
