The Links at Greenfield Plantation golf course is private property and is not owned by Greenfield Plantation. Strolling on the golf course or it's cart paths, children 'cutting through' the golf course as a short cut, walking or exercising pets on the golf course is strictly forbidden and may subject the violator to trespassing charges and possible arrest.
Q. Can golfers come into my yard to retrieve golf balls?
A. Yes, there is an easement over the lawn and yard area of each lot that is adjacent to the golf course. By purchasing a golf-course frontage lot, you have granted permission to golfers to come into your yard to retrieve errant golf balls. Golfers are not permitted to play their balls from your yard, and golfers cannot enter your residence, garage, enclosed patio, pool area, or any fenced area.
Q. Is the golf course responsible if a golf ball damages my property?
A. No. By purchasing a home on the golf course, you have agreed to release the owners of the golf course or it's employees from any liability due to property damage or injury caused by the use of the golf course for the purpose for which it was intended. Individual golfers however, may be liable.
